Terms and Conditions 10/09

1. As a bonded tour operator, all pre-payments will be held on a separate client account until the event has taken place.

2. No cancellation charge is applied prior to the final payment date - 10 weeks before the event - then the deposit payment will be set  against hotel and ferry cancellation costs.

3. Cancellation after the final payment date will result in a total loss of all funds paid.

4. Ferry/Eurotunnel tickets are not refundable and cannot be transferred to alternate dates. Hotel bookings are firm once confirmed and are not refundable .

5. Payment can be made by cheque payable to “Continental Car Tours” or by telephone via debit card with expiry date. Credit card transactions are subject to a 2.5% charge.

6. No booking is valid until the final payment has been received.

7. It is a condition that you take out personal insurance to give cover in the event of cancellation or curtailment, medical costs and repatriation – phone Norton Insurance on 0121 246 5050, or you are free to obtain insurance elsewhere.

8. By participating in a CCT event and or by signing the confirmation return notice you agree to indemnify Continental Car Tours against any costs arising which would otherwise have been met had such insurance cover been taken out.

9. If you do not take out breakdown recovery insurance, you are responsible for the repatriation of your vehicle and passengers and thus agree to indemnify Continental Car Tours against such costs should they be incurred. Breakdown recovery can be obtained with Norton Insurance on 0121 246 5050,your own insurers, AA or RAC.

10. We endeavour to book hotels with their own car parking within the grounds, his may mean outdoor uncovered parking or underground parking. You may find some of the car parks unsuitable for your car especially if it has low clearance or is high. Some underground car parks have steep inclines and height restrictions or speed ramps may be in place.  You are responsible for the clearance of your vehicle.

11. You must comply with motoring regulations for travel abroad and carry the necessary equipment. Information is available from the AA, RAC and your vehicle insurers.

12. It is compulsory to have a valid passport, full driving licence, car registration certificate, motor insurance policy, valid MOT certificate and car licence.

13. Continental Car Tours reserves the right to alter or refund the booking in circumstances beyond our control.

14. Complaints must be sent in writing no later than 14 days after the event.

15. Alterations after the final payment date will incur a minimum £10 charge. Ferry ticket cancellations are subject to a minimum £40 charge.

16. Please note that your address data will be stored on our database for future mailing of the events schedule unless you request otherwise. Addresses are private information and are not disclosed to any other party.
